इस कथा को प्रारम्भ करने से पहले यह बता दूँ, अभिमन्यु महाभारत का एक ऐसा पात्र है, जिसका जिक्र आते
ही वह बालक याद आता है। जिसने अपनी माँ के गर्भ में चक्रव्यूह https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chakravyuha तोड़ना सीख लिया था। परंतु उसकी माता सुभद्रा को अर्जुन जब चक्रव्यूह तोड़ने की कथा सुना रहा था, उसी समय उसे नींद आ गयी, वह कथा वहीं अधूरी रह गयी! जिसका परिणाम यह हुआ, अभिमन्यु चक्रव्यूह में प्रवेश करना तो सीख गया परंतु, वह वाहर निकालना नहीं सीख सका, जिसका परिणाम यह हुआ, अंत में उसे घेर कर मार दिया गया! यह महाभारत के युद्ध की सबसे शर्मनाक घटना थी, जिसमें छह-छह महारथियों ने मिलकर एक सोलह साल के बालक बध कर दिया था जो कि युद्ध के नियम के विरुद्ध था।

इस ब्लॉग में महाभारत के पात्र अभिमन्यु एवं हमारी कथा के पात्र का कोई लेना देना नहीं है| यह एक ऐसे व्यक्ति की कथा है. जिसने निम्न स्तर से उठकर ऊंचाई के ऐसे मुकाम को छुआ। जिसपर पहुँचना किसी चुनौती से कम नहीं था, परंतु वह ऊँचाई पर पहुँचकर ऐसे चक्रव्यूह में फंसा कि अंत तक उससे निकल नहीं सका।
यह कहानी शुरू होती है 90 के दशक से, शिवनगर में मकर संक्रांति का विशाल मेला लगा था, मेले में अपार भीड़ थी, तभी भीड़ का ध्यान अचानक हेलीकाप्टर की गड़गड़ाहट पर गया। एकदम भगदड़ मच गई लोग हेलीकाप्टर देखने भागे, थोड़ी देर घूमने के बाद हेलीकाप्टर ने लैंड किया। मेला ग्राउंड पर लगे छोटे से मंच पर स्थानीय संसद सदस्य राजा कुवर सिंह एवं केंद्रीय मंत्री भेरों नाथ उपस्थित हुए! मेले की सारी भीड़ मंच के सामने एकत्रित हो गयी, लोग राजा जिंदाबाद के नारे लगाने लगे, थोड़ी देर में भीड़ के स्वर बदल गए भेरों नाथ मुर्दाबाद राजा कुवर सिंह मुर्दाबाद के नारे गूंजने लगे भीड़ धीरे -धीरे भीड़ उग्र होने लगी लोग मंच के पास आने लगे. उनमे से कुछ लोग मंच पर पत्थर फेंकने लगे। पुलिस भीड़ को नियंत्रित करने का प्रयास करने लगी, लेकिन भीड़ बेकाबू हो गयी , तभी पुलिस ने लाठी चार्ज करने का आदेश दे दिया। पुलिस भीड़ में उपस्थित कुछ युवाओं को लाठी से मार रही थी, ये वे युवा थे जो राजा कुँवर सिंह का विरोध कर रहे थे। ये युवा जन तांत्रिक पार्टी के सदस्य थे इसलिए पुलिस सिर्फ उन युवाओ को टार्गेट कर लाठियों से पीट रही थी। इन युवाओं के पीछे एक युवक था॰ जो प्रदेश की राजनीति में प्रवेश करने की कोशिश कर था। यह युवक अभिमन्यु शर्मा था।
सन 2020 - सारे विश्व में कोरोना वाइरस ने कोहराम मचा दिया था, महामारी के कारण सारा विश्व दहल गया लोग मरने लगे अमेरिका, यूरोप, चीन, जापान, भारत सहित लगभग विश्व के 190 देश इसकी चपेट में आ गए थे, सभी देशों में लॉक डाउन लगा दिया गया। मार्च, 2020 में भारत के प्रधान मंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने भी लॉक डाउन की घोषणा कर दी ! लॉक डाउन से देश की स्थिति भयाभय हो गयी, परिवहन एवं निर्माण क्षेत्र ठप हो जाने से मजदूर एक जगह फसकर रह गए मजदूरों को लेकर आने वाले ठेकेदार उन्हे छोडकर भाग गए। अब मजदूरों को दो समय की रोटी मिलना भी दूभर हो गया! दूसरी ओर मीडिया ने डर फैलाना शुरू कर दिया प्रशासन का तरीका भी मरीजों एवं आम नागरिकों को डराने बाला था, किसी मरीज को अस्पताल लाने के लिए इतने तामझाम किए जाते कि पूरे क्षेत्र में दहशत फ़ेल जाती! दूसरी और मीडिया किसी भी खबर को इस तरह दिखा रहा था जिसे देखकर लोग डर रहे थे!
तबलीगी जमात को इस तरह प्रस्तुत किया गया कि पूरे देश में तबलीगी जमात के एक-एक जमाती को इस तरह प्रशासन खोज रहा था जैसे वह कहीं बम लेकर भाग रहा है, कही भी बिस्फोट कर सकता हैं! दूसरी तरफ जब मजदूरों का राशन समाप्त हो गया तो मजदूर लॉक डाउन तोड़कर बाहर निकलकर पैदल ही अपने घर कि ओर निकल पड़े यह काफी भयाभय था। जिसे जो भी साधन मिल रहा था, वह उससे भागने का प्रयास कर रहा था, जिसे साधन नहीं मिला वह पैदल ही ८००-१००० किलोमीटर का सफर करने तैयार था। इसके कारण एक भयानक हादसा हुआ, जब एक जत्था रेलवे ट्रैक पर चल रहा था। लोग थके हुये थे, ट्रैक पर अंधेरा था। अधिक थकान के कारण ये लोग ट्रैक पर ही सो गए अचानक रात में मालगाड़ी गुजरी १०-१२ लोगो का जत्था ट्रेन के नीचे आ गया इस ट्रेन हादसे में 10-12 लोगों की जान चली गयी, इस भयानक हादसे ने पूरे देश को झकझोर कर रख दिया।
कोरोना काल मेँ सरकार के साथ समाज सेवी संगठनों ने महत्व पूर्ण भूमिका निभाई, कोरोना संकट से निपटने के लिए सरकार ने पुरजोर प्रयास किए इसके बाद भी अनेक लोग इस महा मारी के कारण काल के गाल मेँ समा गए, सरकार का प्रयास रंग लाया। भारत वेक्सीन बनाने मेँ सफल रहा, वेक्सीनेशन चल रहा था। तब तक मार्च, 2021 मेँ कोरोना की दूसरी भयाभय लहर ने पुन: कोहराम मचा दिया, इससे लोग पहली लहर के मुकबाले अधिक प्रभावित हो रहे थे। मृतकों की संख्या भी अपेक्षा कृत अधिक प्राप्त हो रही थी।
भोपाल के एक निजी अस्पताल मेँ जब कोरोना पोसिटिव मरीजो को लाया गया तो अस्पताल में एक ऐसा मरीज आया जिसका नाम सुनकर अस्पताल के साथ मीडिया, एवं पूरे प्रदेश की राजनीति मेँ हलचल मच गयी वह व्यक्ति कोई और नहीं पूर्व मंत्री अभिमन्यु शर्मा था। जब अभिमन्यु शर्मा कोरोना पॉज़िटिव हुआ तो शिव नगर के साथ प्रदेश के गलियारों मेँ बात हवा की तरह फ़ेल गयी, प्रदेश के मुखिया राजसिंह ने अस्पताल में जाकर प्रशासन को हिदायत दी कि अभिमन्यु को विशेष सुविधा प्रदान की जाएँ।
