काम्पिल्य नगर से निकलने के बाद द्रोण के चारों ओर द्रुपद के शब्द गूंज रहे थे-''मांगना है तो भिक्छुक व्राह्मण की भांति मांगो मित्रता तो बराबर में होती है!'' इसी आवाज के साथ कितनी दूर निकल आये! उन्हें पता ही नही चला वे तो बस चल रहे थे, न तो रास्ते ज्ञान था न ही मंजिल पता, वे तो बस चल रहे थे! एक अंजान डगर पर, चलते -चलते इतनी दूर आगये थे कि वे कहाँ से चले थे! इसका भी भान न रहा! अंततः एक कोलाहल ने द्रोण की तन्द्रा को भंग किया! उन्होंने देखा कुछ बालक जो देखने में राजकुमार लग रहे थे! ए
लक्ष्य साधते द्रोण के शिष्य
क कुएं के पास शोर कर रहे हैं! द्रोण ने उनके पास जाकर पूछा -''बालकों क्या बात है ? शोर क्यों कर रहे हो इस कुए में क्या है?" तब एक राजकुमार ने द्रोण की ओर देखा तथा भोलेपन से कहा -''आचार्य हमारी गेंद कुएं में गिर गई क्या आप हमारी सहायता करेंगे!" द्रोण अपने हृदय में भरे विषाद को भूल गये तथा मुस्कराकर बोले -''अवश्य! हम आपकी सहायता अवश्य करेंगे'' बालक के मुख पर मुस्कान आ गई उसने सभी राजकुमारों को अपने पास बुला लिया- ''देखो आचार्य हमारी सहायता करेंगे. वे हमारी गेंद अवश्य निकाल कर हमें देगें! तभी द्रोण ने सभी राजकुमारों से तिनके एकत्रित करने के लिए कहा सभी राजकुमारों ने तिनके लाकर द्रोण को दे दिए! द्रोण ने तिनकों को जोड़ना आरम्भ कर दिया जब तिनके जुड़ गये, उन तिनको को कुएं में पड़ी गेंद में छेदकर उसे कुएं से वाहर निकाल लिया सभी राजकुमार आश्चर्यचकित होकर देखते रह गये!
द्रोण ने हस्तनापुर के कुलगुरु एवं गंगापुत्र भीष्म को आते देखा तो चकित रह गये! हस्तनापुर के कुलगुरु कृपाचार्य द्रोण की पत्नी कृपी के भाई थे! दोनों ने आकर द्रोण को प्रणाम किया! यह भी उनके स्वागत में खड़े हो गये भीष्म हाथ जोडकर बोले -"आचार्य हस्तनापुर राज्य में आपका स्वागत है! बालकों ने आपके बारे में बताया तो एक पल भी आपसे मिले बिना नहीं रह सके!'' द्रोणाचार्य विनय भाव से बोले-'' यह तो आपकी विनम्रता है गंगा पुत्र मै आपसे मिलकर धन्य हो गया!'' कुलगुरु कृपाचार्य ने मुस्कराकर द्रोण का स्वागत किया तथा बोले -'' गंगापुत्र आपकी ही प्रतीक्षा कर रहे थे! आज उनकी प्रतीक्षा समाप्त हो गई!'' द्रोण आश्चर्य से उनकी ओर देखते हुए बोले -''कैसी प्रतीक्षा ? मैं कुछ समझा नहीं ! वे कोतुहल से बोले! तभी भीष्म ने उन्हें रोकते हुए कहा -''आचार्य अभी आप जिन राजकुमारों की सहायता करके आये हो वे सब कुरु राजकुमार हैं ! कृपाचार्य तथा मुझे कब से गुरु के रूप में आपकी प्रतीक्षा थी!"
द्रोणाचार्य को एक झटके में वह सब प्राप्त हो गया जिसके वे अधिकारी थे! एक ही पल में ह्स्तनापुर का सारा वैभव उनके कदमों में आ गया! कुछ समय पूर्व ही हुए अपमान का यह प्रतिफल शायद इश्वर की इक्छा थी या फिर विधि का कोई खेल था! यह तो आने वाला समय ही बताने वाला था! कदाचित द्रोण को इस वैभव में कोई रूचि नही थी! उनके ह्रदय में तो मात्र प्रीतिशोध की ज्वाला थी जो किसी भी वैभव को जलाने के लिए पर्याप्त थी! वे द्रुपद द्वारा किए अपमान के अतिरिक्त कुछ सोच ही नही पा रहे थे! उनके जीवन का एक मात्र उदेश्य अपने अपमान का प्रतिशोध लेना था! प्रतिशोध की ज्वाला ने उन्हें कृपी से दूर क
जब अर्जुन ने चिड़िया पर लक्ष्य साधा
र दिया वे अपना बचन पूरा न होने के कारण उनके पास नही जा पा रहे थे! राजगुरु का पद प्राप्त होने के बाद वे अपने शिष्यों में लक्ष्य प्राप्ति का मार्ग खोजने लगे यह शायद उनकी ऐसी भूल थी जिसका परिणाम भविष्य में बहुत भयानक होने बाला था! इसका अनुमान द्रोण को शायद न हो लेकिन समय सब जनता था कि आगे क्या होने वाला है! द्रोण तो कौरव , पांडव में एक ऐसे शिष्य की ख़ोज में थे जो उनका प्रीतिशोध लेंने में मुख्य भूमिका निभा सके!
प्रतिशोध की अग्नि ने द्रोण को कठोर बना दिया यह कठोरता उनके शिष्यों को कुन्दन बनाने का काम करने लगी! परन्तु वे संतुष्ट नही थे! उन्हें एक ऐसे शिष्य की ख़ोज थी जो द्रुपद की शक्ति का उत्तर दे सके! अपनी ख़ोज को पूरा करने के लिए एक दिन सभी राजकुमारों की परीक्षा लेने का विचार उनके मन में आया! ताकि वे ऐसे शिष्य को ख़ोज सकें जो उनकी क्रोधाग्नि शांत कर उनके अपमान का प्रतिशोध ले सके!
द्रोण के सभी शिष्य एक कतार में खड़े थे! सामने पेड़ पर एक पक्षी टंगा हुआ था! द्रोण ने सर्व प्रथम युधिष्ठिर को बुलाया तथा उस पक्षी का निशाना साधने के लिए कहा युधिष्ठिर ने धनुष उठा कर निशाना साधा लक्ष्य साधने के बाद द्रोण ने पूछा -"वत्स अब बताओ तुम्हे क्या दिखाई दे रहा हे!' युधिष्ठिर ने तुरंत उत्तर दिया -"गुरुदेब मुझे पेड़ पर पक्षी दिखाई दे रहा है!" तभी द्रोणा चार्य ने पूछा -"वत्स और क्या -क्या दिखाई दे रहा है!" युधिष्ठिर ने कहा गुरुदेव मुझे आप, मेरे सभी भाई, पेड़ के पत्ते, पेड़ का तना, सब दिखाई दे रहा
अर्जुन ने जब अपना लक्ष्य भेद दिया
है! द्रोण ने उत्तर सुनकर उसे एक ओर हटने का आदेश दिया तथा दुर्योधन को बुलाया और लक्ष्य साधने का आदेश दिया लक्ष्य साधने के बाद वही प्रश्न दोहराया जो युधिष्ठिर से किया था! दुर्योधन का उत्तर भी युधिष्ठिर की भांति था! उसे भी सब दिखाई दे रहा था! द्रोणाचार्य ने दुर्योधन को भी एक ओर हटने का आदेश दिया! इस तरह एक-एक कर सभी राजकुमारों को लक्ष्य साधने कहा परन्तु एक भी राजकुमार उनकी कसोटी पर खरा नही था! सबसे अंत में द्रोण ने अर्जुन को लक्ष्य साधने के लिया कहा! अर्जुन ने लक्ष्य साधा तब द्रोण ने पूछा -"अर्जुन बताओ तुम्हे क्या दिखाई दे रहा है!" अर्जुन ने लक्ष्य साधा एवं उत्तर दिया गुरुदेव मुझे पेड़ पर एक चिड़िया दिखाई दे रही है!" द्रोण ने कहा ठीक से देखो और बताओ तुम्हे क्या -क्या दिखाई दे रहा है!" अर्जुन ने फिर लक्ष्य साधा तथा उत्तर दिया - " गुरुदेव मुझे अब सिर्फ चिड़िया की आँख दिखाई दे रही है!" द्रोण ने लक्ष्य भेदने का आदेश दिया, अर्जुन ने तीर छोड़ा जो सीधा पक्षी की आंख में लगा एवं पक्षी नीचे आकर गिर गया! इसी के साथ ही द्रोण को द्रुपद का जबाब अर्जुन के रूप में मिल गया जिसे वे तराशने जुट गये ताकि द्रुपद को मित्रता का मोल सिखा सके! उसे बराबरी का अहसास करा सकें!
After leaving the city of Kampilya, Drupad's words were reverberating around Drona - "If you want to ask, ask like a bhikkhu Brahmin, friendship is equal!" How far did he come out with this voice! They didn't even know that they were just walking, had neither the knowledge of the way nor the destination, they were just walking! On an unknown road, they had come so far while walking that from where they had left! Didn't even realize it! Finally a commotion broke Drona's sleep! He saw some children who looked like princes! There are noises near a well!Drona went to them and asked - "What is the matter, children? Why are you making noise, what is in this well?" Then a prince looked at Drona and said innocently - "Acharya, our ball fell into the well, will you help us!" Drona forgot the sadness in his heart and smiled and said - "Sure! We will definitely help you." A smile came on the face of the child, he called all the princes to him - "Look, the Acharya will help us. They will definitely take out our ball and give it to us!Then Drona asked all the princes to collect the straws, all the princes brought the straws and gave them to Drona! Drona started connecting the straws, when the straws were joined, he pierced the ball lying in the well and took it out of the well, all the princes were surprised to see!
Drona was astonished when he saw Bhishma, the vice-chancellor of Hastnapur and the son of Ganga. Kripacharya, the vice-chancellor of Hastanapur, was the brother of Kripi, the wife of Drona. Both of them came and bowed down to Drona! Bhishma also stood to welcome him and said with folded hands - "Welcome to the state of Acharya Hastnapur! If the children told about you, they could not live without meeting you even for a moment!" Dronacharya said with humility- "This So it is your humility, son of Ganga, I am blessed to meet you!” Kulguru Kripacharya welcomed Drona with a smile and said."Gangaputra was waiting for you! Today their wait is over!" Drona looked at him in surprise and said - "What waiting? I didn't understand anything! They said curiously! Then Bhishma stopped them and said - "Acharya, all the princes you have come with the help of now are Kuru princes! Kripacharya and I have been waiting for you as gurus since long!"
Dronacharya got everything he deserved in a jiffy! In an instant, all the splendor of Hastanapur came at his feet! Maybe it was God's will or a game of law because of the humiliation that happened some time ago! It was only time to tell! Perhaps Drona was not interested in this splendor! There was only a flame of love in his heart which was enough to ignite any glory!They could not think of anything other than the insult done by Drupada! The only purpose of his life was to take vengeance for his humiliation! The flame of vengeance took them away from Kripi, they were unable to go to him as their promise was not fulfilled! After getting the post of Rajguru, he started looking for a way in his disciples to achieve the goal, this was probably his mistake, the result of which was going to be very terrible in future! Drona may not have guessed this, but at the time everyone knew what was going to happen next! Drona to Kauravas, to Was on the hunt for a disciple who could play a key role in his revenge!
The fire of vengeance made Drona hard; this harshness started making his disciples kundan! But they were not satisfied! He was looking for a disciple who could answer Drupada's power! The idea of testing all the princes came to his mind one day to complete his quest! So that they can find such a disciple who can quench their anger and take vengeance for their insult!
All the disciples of Drona were standing in a row! There was a bird hanging on the tree in front! Drona first called Yudhishthira and asked him to aim at that bird. Yudhishthira immediately replied - "Gurudev, I can see a bird on the tree!" Then Drona Charya asked - "What else do you see!" Yudhishthira said Gurudev to me, all my brothers, the leaves of the tree. , the trunk of the tree, everything is visible!Drona, hearing the answer, ordered him to move aside and called Duryodhana and ordered him to pursue the goal. After achieving the goal, he repeated the same question that he had asked Yudhishthira. Duryodhana's answer was also like that of Yudhishthira! He could see everything! Dronacharya also ordered Duryodhana to move aside! In this way, one by one, all the princes were asked to achieve their goals, but not a single prince was up to their test! Lastly, Drona asked Arjuna to take aim. When Arjun aimed, then Drona asked -"Tell Arjun what do you see!" Arjun aimed and replied, Gurudev, I can see a bird on the tree!” Drona said, look properly and tell me what do you see!” Arjun again aimed and replied - "Gurudev, now I can see only the eyes of the bird!" Drona ordered to hit the target, Arjuna released an arrow which hit the bird directly in the eye and the bird fell down. With this, Drona got the answer of Drupada in the form of Arjuna, which he started carving. So that he can teach Drupada the value of friendship! Make him feel equal!
